The employer is looking for a part-time Customer Service Officers to work at Melbourne Airport, representing one of their prestigious Airline partners.
As a Customer Service Officer, the candidate will be responsible for providing highly polished and professional customer service at the airport terminal. You'll perform a variety of duties, including:
Correctly checking in guests
Rebooking flights
Directing our guests as they board or disembark the aircraft
Handling flight disruptions and cancellations
Boarding gate duties including boarding gate announcements
Assisting additional needs guests
Airports are often affected by operational disruptions that can impact passengers’ travel plans. You will be required to rely on your genuine desire to help others, solve problems and ensure the best outcome. It is a responsibility of all Customer Service Officers to ensure standard operating procedures are followed, a safe workplace is maintained and company values, policies and goals are achieved by all.
What we are looking for:
Previous Customer Service / Check In experience – (specifically using CM system is preferred)
Previous experience within the Aviation/Airline industry
Customer focus to deliver exceptional service
Reliable, punctual and organised
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
Able to work well in a fast paced team environment
Available to work a rotating shift roster including weekends
Safety conscious
Positive attitude
Fluent in spoken and written English
A valid drivers licence
