Telephone Interviewer - Tasmania

Role Details

Your role as research interviewer employed on a casual basis will be to collect information on people's opinions, thoughts and attitudes on various topics, carried out via structured telephone surveys and face-to-face intercept surveys.

Shifts when carrying out telephone surveys will vary but will mostly take place from 4:30pm to 8:30pm on weekdays and from 1pm to 5pm on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). Shifts when carrying out face-to-face intercept surveys will vary but will most likely take place during business hours during the week and occasional weekend work.

We have multiple vacant positions within our call centre for those with a strong work ethic and who are ready to contribute to quality data collection within a call centre environment.

Working from home arrangements can be provided where the applicant lives outside southern Tasmania.

Ideal for the role…

We are looking for people who are positive, friendly, approachable, reliable, enthusiastic, with a good telephone manner, a clear speaking voice and comfortable with face-to-face interaction.

While no previous call centre experience is required, experience in customer service and strong communication skills are desirable.

Role Requirements…

• MUST be available to work a minimum of three (3) weekday evenings (4:30 - 8:30pm AEST) and one (1) weekend day shift (1:00pm - 5:00pm AEST) each fortnight.

• Depending on project requirements, our interviewers might occasionally be expected to work more than 20 hours per week across weekdays and weekends. Start and finish times may vary depending on the location we are calling.

• Availability and workings days flexible.

• Must be comfortable with face-to-face interactions

• Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold valid Australian working rights.
